Executive programme, confidential and personalised

From Suppressed Leadership to Cognitive Leadership

A structured mental-training programme for CEOs and senior leaders, built on Wonderfeelz Neuropsy Power Meditation and the Executive Cognitive Mantra™ framework. Train the mind behind every decision.

A CEO’s hardest problems are not only strategic

They begin in the mind behind each decision. These are questions of attention, self-awareness, emotional regulation, cognitive flexibility and behavioural discipline.

How do you respond when the board challenges your strategy?

How do you stay composed in a crisis and listen without defensiveness?

How do you decide well when the information is incomplete?

The method: six steps from automatic reaction to deliberate action

The programme goes beyond simply calming the mind. It examines how thoughts, interpretations and habitual reactions shape what you do.

  1. ObserveNotice what is happening in the mind.
  2. IdentifyRecognise the thought pattern or automatic reaction.
  3. TestExamine the evidence and question assumptions.
  4. InterveneChoose a suitable cognitive or contemplative technique.
  5. ContemplateLeave space for reflection instead of reacting.
  6. IntegrateApply the learning to real decisions and interactions.

Fifteen leadership competencies, each with a practical exercise

Each competency is trained through a short, specific practice that you use in real leadership situations.

Know yourself

  • Self-awarenessAfter a hard interaction, trace the event, your first interpretation, the emotion, the urge and your actual response.
  • Emotional regulationPause before replying to criticism. Name the emotion, state the business objective, choose a proportionate response.
  • Attention controlBegin with five minutes on one strategic question, then build longer blocks of protected thinking.
  • ResilienceSeparate the problem that needs action from looping thoughts. Pick one recovery action and one next step.

Decide well

  • Decision qualityWrite down what is known, what is assumed and what would make you reconsider.
  • Strategic thinkingView each decision across 30 days, 6 to 12 months and 3 to 5 years, with second-order effects.
  • AdaptabilitySeparate what is known, what can be investigated and what stays uncertain. Prefer reversible experiments.
  • Ethical judgmentWeigh the effect on every stakeholder and ask whether you could explain the decision openly.

Lead people

  • Empathy and listeningSeparate facts, interpretation and underlying concern. Summarise their view before giving yours.
  • Conflict managementMove from positions to interests and build options that meet the key interests on both sides.
  • Executive presencePause, clarify the question, state the conclusion, give the facts, admit uncertainty, name the next action.
  • Delegation and trustWhen you want to take over, name the real risk, set the outcome and boundaries, agree review points.

Think and act

  • Creativity and problem-solvingDefine the problem, generate options without judging them, then test each on value, feasibility, risk and fit.
  • Execution and prioritisationChoose one critical outcome and three actions each morning. Review what blocked progress each evening.
  • Learning agilityEach week, test one business belief: the evidence for it, the evidence against it and an experiment.

How progress is measured

Minutes spent meditating are not the measure. We track changes in behaviour that matter to you, chosen for your own role.

  • Fewer reactive messages and regretted responses
  • Assumptions written down for major decisions
  • More consistent protected time for strategic work
  • Better feedback on listening and communication
  • Fewer recurring interpersonal conflicts
  • More appropriate delegation and fewer unnecessary escalations
  • Faster recovery after setbacks
  • Quicker adaptation when new evidence appears

Who it is for

  • CEOs, managing directors and founders
  • CXOs and senior leadership team members
  • Leaders preparing for larger roles or high-stakes periods
  • Boards and promoters who want a private development track for the CEO

Delivered one-to-one, online or in person, by a consulting psychologist. Fully confidential.

What the evidence says, and what it does not

Research on mindfulness and related practices suggests possible benefits for stress, aspects of attention and psychological wellbeing. Findings vary between studies, and the evidence for specific executive outcomes is mixed.

This programme has not been independently shown to improve all fifteen competencies or to guarantee better business results. That is why we set a baseline, measure real behaviour, and do not credit meditation alone for any improvement. Meditation complements strategic expertise, experience and good governance. It does not replace them.
